| JazzFest
Alternative Poster ("The Price of a Beer"), 2004 (Print & Silkscreen approx 72"x28") |
||
| This
piece was a poke at the commodification of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage
Festival, drawing from area criticism of issues relating to the production
of the JazzFest poster. The silkscreen was designed as a tactical poster
to be used with glass etching cream. To remove the poster, you would have
to remove the window upon which it would hypothetically be inscribed.
