Statement
Michael Atavar is an artist working with new technologies, making
art specific to the world wide web. These virtual pieces use strong
associative language, drawn from nature, to explore the untapped emotional
power of computer technology.

award in the internet-forum at the COMTEC 98 Festival of Computer
Art in Dresden, as well as a runner-up prize in the 1999 trAce/Alt-X
International Hypertext Competition.
Digital works

sound and light installation.
