Giselle Beiguelman (São Paulo, Brasil, 1962) is a multimedia essayist and web-artist living in São Paulo. Ph.D. in History, she was a fellow of the VITAE Foundation and has been researching the cultural impact of the Internet. Author of various books and articles, she has been working as editor for big Internet providers in Brazil. Member of the 10th ISEA International Program Committee, she is Arte/Cidade (a non-profit organization devoted to the arts and urbanism) web editor, from 1995 to the present. Since 1998 Giselle Beiguelman runs desvirtual.com, an editorial studio where are based her personal projects, like The Book after the Book ,and <Content = No Cache>.
