| Bio Louise McKissick is a Canadian performance installation artist and experimental writer currently living in Chicago. In 1997 she hid her erotic writings between the pages of other books in the 16th century astronomical library at the University of Vilnius, Lithuania. She surreptitiously hard-coded her desire into the library's antiquated MIS structure by carefully computing each location using a combination of numerology and Kepler1s law. She did the same thing at a Borders bookstore as part of the Cleveland International Festival of Performance Art in the spring of 1998, and lectured about it at the Cleveland Institute of Contemporary Art. |
