We live in a world where there is a vast world of information that exists beside our everyday one, coursing throgh the wires, flying through the air and encoded on most of our products.  It is a universe of information that we can only peer dimly through using our computers, scanners,cell phones, and so on.  Secret Messages is a series of works (video, virtual reality, and wooden sculptures) that try to illustrate the beauty, frustration, and anxiety of being immersed in a vast unseen world every day.

To compliment the wood-based sculptural installation, a stereoscopic Geowall-based virtual reality work was created. A database of all the barcode images was put in a three dimenstional space where the onlooker can navigate the "data space" as a sculptural field.
