Grasping @ Bits was an essay commissioned by the Walker Art Center's Art Entertainment Network show that looked at the boundaries between activism and corporate control through Hardin;s idea of the Commons. The essay was written as oen where paragraphs could branch to many others seamlessly in a spatial format. This was enabled by the use of a hyperbrowser at the top of the page, powered by Natrifical's Brain software.

The essay also earned an Honorable mention for Ars Electronica's Golden Nica award in 2001.
