Andy Rembrandt is a collective avatar loosely based on the life of Andy Warhol, operated by several artists affiliated with Patrick Lichty's virtual artist in residence at Eyebeam Atelier in NYC.

Starting in September 2009, Andy Rembrandt will create the Bitfactory and explore the social scene of Second Life. To him, Second Life looks a lot like the East Side in the 60's, where people are hustling, excited about the future, and trying to get famous. Can it
happen again?
